Created as a part of CWU coursework, this student project is a redesign of Downy's in-wash scent beads that trades loud, aggressive packaging for a softer, fresher, and more approachable look.

Project overview
Downy scent beads are an in-wash fragrance booster that you pour into the drum with your laundry. The original packaging leaned into a bold, aggressive style that felt closer to men's body spray than to something you'd want in your laundry room. It was trying hard to look "cool," and in doing so it came across as harsh and less welcoming to everyday shoppers.
This student project rebrands the product as Ever Fresh, with a new visual identity, packaging design, and a one-page website. My goal was to soften the brand image and make it feel refreshing and accessible. I built the identity around a fresh green palette and rounded bead and leaf shapes, then carried it across the box and the site. The process moved from sketches and dieline drafts to low and high-fidelity wireframes in Figma, and finished with a live build in WordPress.
