This project is a self-guided study exploring fluid UI transitions between four different music player app layouts.
Project overview
This self-led project is a concept exploration centered on how the music-player app ‘Musicolet’ might present a showcase for their many styles across different layouts, sizes, and contexts. The project focuses on taking standard interface elements, such as full album cards and compact widgets, and creating smooth, fluid transitions between each state.
The visual direction was heavily inspired by real world Apple advertisements, and emphasizes seamless morphing, where UI components naturally resize, shift, and reorganize without losing functional clarity. By pairing clean geometry with responsive ambient glows that adapt to the album artwork, my goal was to give a sense of weight and momentum to the digital elements as they change shape and layout.
